Renewable Energy International Pty. Ltd. (REI) is a specialist renewable energy company, founded by its Managing Director, Mr. John Hall, who has over 30 years experience in the industry within Australia and overseas.
John Hall
A pioneer of the Australian renewable energy industry, John has extensive knowledge and understanding of all the elements relevant to the design, supply and installation of all types of solar power installations in domestic, industrial and commercial applications.
Entering the Renewable Energy Industry in 1981, John has one of the longest continued commitments and experience in the industry of any individual in Australia.

1981–2006 Founder, Managing Director and Chairman of Solar Sales Pty. Ltd.
1997–1998 Inaugural Board member of the Sustainable Energy Industry Association Australia (SEIA), the peak industry body representing the 3 industry bodies in Australia, C.A.S.E, Australian and New Zealand Solar Energy Society (ANZSES), Australian Co-operative Research Enterprise (A.C.R.E.). SEIA eventually became the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) and eventually the Clean Energy Council of Australia. This new peak body represents the interests and development of all those making a living from the Industry in Australia.
1995–1996 Member of the Federal Australian Governments, Expert Group on Renewable Energy Technologies (E.G.R.E.T.) which advised the Government via the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy in its preparation of the White Paper.
1996 Member of the National Roundtable on Sustainable Energy.
1994–1997 Treasurer then President of the Renewable Energy Industry Association Inc., an organisation representing some of Australia’s most influential renewable energy companies.
1994 Inaugural Director and Board member of the International Centre for the Applications of Solar Energy (C.A.S.E.). The Federal Australian and Western Australian Governments support this body under the auspices of the United National Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). C.A.S.E’s main function is to promote the use of renewable energy in developing nations.
1989–1993 Inaugural member of the Western Australian Governments, Renewable Energy Advisory Council (REAC), appointed by the Minister for Fuel and Energy.
1981–1986 Began business distributing a locally Western Australian manufactured domestic solar hot water system and importing photovoltaic (P.V.) equipment from Arco Solar Inc. for use primarily throughout W.A. in commercial applications. Achieved highest volume sales for supplier’s products.

Key Staff
Andrew Hall (Director)
Andrew holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing and Management) degree from Notre Dame University and is responsible for assisting the Managing Director in co-ordinating marketing and sales promotions, regulatory approvals, accounting, client liaison, and site visits.
Rob de Croon
Rob is the company’s senior client advisor and is responsible for co-ordinating site visits and client liaison.

Kane Anwar
With many years of hands on experience, Kane is a valuable member of the staff and loves nothing more to be assisting the rest of the team in installing solar power systems all over the state.
Kane has been Clean Energy Council accredited to Design and Install stand-alone solar power systems and to Design and Supervise Grid Connected solar power systems and has also been awarded an Advanced Diploma of Electrotechnology (Renewable Energy), Senior First Aid certification and Working Safely at Heights.
